What to Expect
Join us for a night out in a beautiful mountain or coastal location, Wild camping in tents or Bivving under the stars or visiting a mountain Bothy.
There is something people find magical about spending a night out in nature; its great for the soul, it rejuvenates the mental health. There's nothing quite like waking up in the high mountains next to a lake with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. I've even come to appreciate the sound of rain on my tent, and simplicity of life at a campsite. It's perfect for families or friends, who what swap the stress of modern life for a night in nature.
Ethics
We operate a leave no trace principal, meaning that we will leave nothing behind as evidence of our stay, bringing home litter even if its not ours. We only camp in discreet, non-popular locations in the high mountains, and we only keep our tents up over one night. We don't use any soaps or washing products that could pollute water courses. We only go in small groups. We pitch late and take down the tents early.
Location
We have many suitable locations, in the high mountains of Snowdonia. Where decide to go may be affected by the weather conditions and how far the team would like to walk.
The plan
We usually meet around 6pm, although you may decide to join us for a climbing course or adventure before! Just get in touch and we can put this package together for you. After parking some kit and a last minute use of the toilet we'll walk up to our chosen wild camping location. We'll help you to put up your tent and provide dinner.
What to bring
Warm ‘outdoor’ clothing (including full waterproofs), water, sun cream, mosquito spray, walking boots, Rucksack.
Bring any camping equipment you own, otherwise let us know and we can provide all the necessary equipment.
